The past year has been a busy one for our family.  I have increased my prayer life, always first with thanks for my many blessings followed by requests for myself and others.  Prayer really does work!!

What part of the mission statement stands out for you?

“Growing in love as we worship God” is where I thrive, followed closely by “Nurturing faith”.  I love St. John’s and want others to find the joy and peace that we find in this parish.  I invite friends and family to come worship with us all the time.  It is very important in my mind for the faith to be nurtured, especially in our youth.  They are our future.

What part of the mission statement stands out for you?

“Nurturing faith” stands out for me the most as I’ve witnessed a decline in Christianity over the last 10-20 years in the community and the world. I’ve tried to nurture faith in my home, which is where it starts, so they can take that faith and share it with their communities and outward.
