Daughters of the King Quiet Day

Leader: Mother Morgan Mercer-Ladd

The general format will be an introduction about why prayer can be hard and the most common reasons we have a hard time connecting in prayer; a session on routine in space, place, time, and prayers referencing the prayer book and the Daughters' prayer practice; a session on being creative with our prayer by using beads or walking to help us focus; and a final session on how each of us was born to be prayerful because it is connection, and true prayer can be a joyful, loving place for each of us if we attend to the ways we feel most alive when we pray.
